Shopping via live videos

    Walmart has partnered with the video commerce provider Firework to integrate TikTok-style live shopping videos into its e-commerce platform. Customers will be able to swipe through a series of 32-second videos to discover new products, add them to their cart, and then buy them without having to leave the video. Walmart’s video commerce service was launched with “Mega Beauty Events” in cooperation with J&J, L’Oreal, P&G and Unilever. In this way, Walmart aims to set up its own live shopping community and enable customers to shop directly and securely on Walmart’s e-commerce platform.
